I'm Krystina! A Detroit native (actually south of Detroit) born and raised. I am happily married to my amazing husband Abbas, and we currently have two children. My family is my everything and they are my muses. If you follow me on social media, you're bound to see tons of them!

 

I'm a #boymom so my everyday life is nothing short of insanity. I have a serious love of the water. Being on the lake or the ocean is my favorite thing in the world. This would explain my obsession with our Irish Hills lake house and my addiction to cruising! My soul lives in the waves.  

I've always been interested in having a camera readily available to capture memories, and like so many mothers when I had my first baby in the spring of 2011 I began snapping thousands of pictures of him. Every smile, every tear, every milestone. I wanted to document it all! I would reach for my phone often to snap a picture of the way his tiny hands grasped my fingers while he nursed. The way he reached up for his daddy and giggled hanging on dearly to his long legs as he tried to walk out the door. The tiny crocodile tears running down his hot red cheeks when he didn't get his way. These were the moments in-between the smiling posed images we often seek out for Christmas cards that I found myself needing to snap a photograph of!  I never wanted to look back and struggle trying to remember these precious times.

I have since found such a passion for capturing these types of moments in life. The little details that I personally want to remember, but more importantly little details that I, as a mere human, can leave behind as a tiny legacy of the way I see the world.
